Project Goals

  • We established professional learning communities (PLC) of teachers practitioners and train them to inquire their own practice of inquiry based learning (IBL).
  • In regular PLCs’ meetings, we discussed the inquiry problems, modes of inquiry, methods, evidence, and conclusions. We reflected on improvement of the IBL in classroom.
  • PLCs from different countries exchanged their experience, discussed their problems and reflected on methods, evidence etc.
  • Results of these process were presented at national and international events.
  • Good examples of IBL practise were presented in a written, publicly available form (ebook).
  • Based on the experience we developed a course on practitioner inquiry (Volume 2).
  • Based on the experience we developed a course on coaching PLCs (Volume 3).
  • Regular accompaniment and inquiry of all process within the project resulted in an extensive educational design research study.
